A Restoration Rooted in Craftsmanship
Working alongside architect Thomas Hood, Balestreri Builders was honored to lead the renovation of this iconic establishment. Our team meticulously restored and enhanced the space, ensuring that every detail honored Eastwood’s original vision while introducing modern amenities for today’s patrons.
From the intimate indoor dining rooms adorned with original art to the vibrant courtyard featuring custom redwood tables and a magnificent new fireplace, every element was thoughtfully designed to create a warm and inviting atmosphere. The seamless transition between indoor and outdoor spaces now offers guests a more expansive and cohesive dining experience.
Collaborating with Local Artisans
This project was more than just a renovation—it was a celebration of local craftsmanship. We partnered with Monterey Bay Plumbing, Chris Dinner Heating, Leavenworth Electric, Vultaggio and Sons Masonry, Aiello Plaster, CL Frost, A & B Fire, and many more local subcontractors. Their combined expertise in plastering, painting, carpentry, masonry, plumbing, electrical, and custom finishes ensured that every detail—from reclaimed clay tiles to walnut doors and custom cabinetry—reflected the inn’s storied past and bright future.
